Meet Dr. Fernando Cruz, DPM

Board-Qualified Podiatrist Specializing in Both Surgical and Non-Surgical Treatment of the Feet & Ankles.

Dr. Fernando Cruz was born in Manhattan, NY, and raised in Lexington Park, MD. His love for football during high school led him to Guilford College in Greensboro, NC, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine and Health Science. Following college, Dr. Cruz attended Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine where he won “Student of the Year” in his final year of school.

After receiving his doctorate degree in Podiatric Medicine, he completed his Reconstructive Foot and Ankle surgical residency at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain, OH. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Cruz joined Family Foot & Ankle Centers in Waxahachie, Ennis, and Corsicana. Dr. Cruz is on staff at Navarro Regional Hospital in Corsicana, Ennis Regional Hospital and Parkview Regional Hospital in Mexia.

Dr. Cruz is Board-Qualified by the American Boards of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is also a member of both the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Texas Podiatric Medical Association. He loves all sports, especially football, and is a big Dallas Cowboys fan. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, Amanda, and dog, Theo, as well as watching new movies.
