Meet Dr. Amanda Pajouh, DPM
Board Certified Podiatrist, Amanda Pajouh DPM, is a Fellowship Trained Diabetic Wound Specialist and Foot Surgeon.
Dr. Amanda Pajouh, DPM, AACFAS, DABPM, is a Board Certified Podiatrist. She frequently treats patients with bunions, heel pain, ingrown nails, hammertoes, ulcerations, routine diabetic foot care, and any other foot and ankle conditions that lead to pain and discomfort.
Dr. Pajouh is a Texas Native raised in Plano, Tx. began her education at The University of North Texas, where she obtained her bachelor degree in Biology with a Minor in Chemistry. She first became exposed to Podiatric medicine after breaking her ankle while running cross country in JROTC. Her interest in the field grew while in undergrad when her father would visit the podiatrist for diabetic foot care. She obtained her medical degree at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Northeastern Ohio. While there, she was the Podiatric Association for Diabetes president, helping educate the community about diabetic foot care.
After graduating with her medical degree, she stayed in Cleveland, Ohio, for a rigorous residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at the world-renown Cleveland Clinic Foundation, where she was able to treat a wide variety of complex patients. She went on to finish her residency and surgical training at the Surgical Hospital of Oklahoma. While in Oklahoma, she surpassed her surgical numbers in both forefoot and rearfoot surgery, working with both podiatric surgeons and orthopedic surgeons.
In addition to a successful three-year residency, she went on to a very busy and fulfilling fellowship specializing in Diabetic Limb Salvage at UT Southwestern Hospital and Parkland Hospital under the plastic surgery department. She brings this knowledge to Family Foot and Ankle Center, where she keeps up with all other current research and modern treatments.
Dr. Pajouh brings her high level of dedication and attention to detail to Family Foot and Ankle Center. She is very caring towards her patients and works endlessly to ensure that they feel comfortable and understand their diagnosis and treatment plan. When not working, Dr. Pajouh enjoys spending time with her parents as well as with her brother Jonathan and her fiancé, who are both foot and ankle surgeons. She loves cuddling with her two pups, Theo and Benji. She also loves exploring nature parks.
